Jerry Flasz is as a highly-respected IT executive with strong transformational leadership experience in consumer product, telecommunications, healthcare, and entertainment companies. As CIO and SVP of Coty Inc, worlds largest fragrance company and a global leader in beauty, Jerry leads the Information Technology organization and is responsible for global IT strategy and operations. At Coty, Mr. Flasz draws upon his more than twenty years of professional experience to define a strategy to transform the IT function into an integrated and valued partner to the Coty business. With a focus on service delivery improvements and optimization of enterprise systems and architecture, he has shaped the IT leadership team, identified key areas for technology investment, and established an environment of transparency and accountability. In doing so, he is creating an IT organization that empowers Cotys business to achieve strategic business objectives and financial results. In a previous role at Pfizer, Mr. Flasz acted as an advisor to the IT leadership team responsible for driving the global application and platform shared services group. His guidance and insight guided the team as they embarked on a $40M per year RFP to transition outsourced support to new operating model and vendors. While at Avon Products, Mr. Flasz led the transformation of the IT organization of 1500 employees worldwide. As a member of the CIO office, Jerry led the global outsourcing/off shoring of application development and maintenance, IT strategy, architecture, and the global program office. While there, he led and shaped the strategy definition, and built the core and extended teams that would transform the organization to better align with the business needs. Jerrys key accomplishments include elevating application development capabilities and enabling capacity through appropriate sourcing of 800 Avon development resources, driving the restructuring and rationalizing of 200 contractor resources Under his leadership, the Avon business teams accelerated many major programs by driving development offshore, focusing their best Avon personnel on shaping the business needs. The result was a $19.2M savings exiting 2013, more flexible and scalable delivery model, improved consistency, and quality of project work. The bulk of Jerrys career has been with multinational organizations where he held increasing leadership roles at Avaya, Moore Medical (McKesson Subsidiary), Revlon, A.P. Products, and GE (NBC). Jerry has integrated his technology expertise and extensive sales, marketing, and operations experience with a strong record of building multinational teams that deliver business technologies on time and within budget. He is experienced in IT strategy and execution, application portfolio rationalization, P&L management, outsourcing/offshore development, supply chain and distribution management, and M&A/joint venture engagements. Mr. Flasz holds a BS from the State University of New York and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advance Management Program.
